This project brings together thoughtful planning and contextual design to create a flexible, secure, and community-oriented facility. The building is organized to allow for future expansion, with adaptable interior spaces that support evolving needs over time. Upon entry, a preserved stone chapel becomes a focal point that anchors the overall design.

Safety and functionality are central to the project, with controlled access at key entry points, clear internal circulation, and strong visual connections that enhance child safety within flexible classroom environments. The architecture responds carefully to its surroundings, balancing scale and massing to relate to both the adjacent single-family neighborhood and the larger commercial context. Designed for visibility from two streets, the building presents an inviting presence, while the adaptive reuse of the original chapel seamlessly integrates old and new, allowing daily operations to continue throughout construction.
