DON BOSCO COMMUNITY CENTER EXPANSION

PORT CHESTER, NEW YORK

Project Type:

Religious Facilities

The Don Bosco Community Center was established in 1928 as a neighborhood focal point for social, recreational, and educational events.

To continue to serve the needs of the local neighborhood and the Port Chester/Sound Shore community, the building is undergoing some much needed expansion. A new addition is being to contain new classrooms, an art studio and a cooking school for the daily afterschool children's programs. The new addition will be structurally designed to as an independent structure so no added weight will be on the to the 100 year old original building. The building is being designed as LEED Silver.
