WILLIAM J. VESCIO COMMUNITY CENTER
BRIAFCLIFF MANOR, NEW YORK
7,000 sqft.
This project was initiated to transform a 110 year old, vacant, non-used space, into a welcoming, social destination offering functional, flexible areas for meetings, quiet study, group work and presentations, for groups and individuals of all ages.
It was designed to operate as a stand-alone facility, yet integrate seamlessly with adjacent Library operations and architectural building character. Improvements included exterior restoration, gut interior renovation, creation of a new mezzanine floor, new support spaces, engineering and audiovisual systems and ADA compliance.
