The new playground will be a great place to socialize, play, and catch up with friends and family. The new support building will be designed to benefit from natural light and offer scenic views of the various parts of the playground.

The building is located near NYC commuter subways and bus stations, local shops and restaurants. The proposal was to study the building masses, restricted heights and feasibility.

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF MOUNT KISCO MOUNT KISCO, NEW YORK RELIGIOUS New/Addition church. The 27 year old church is seeking to make modern improvements to increase four main categories: Fellowship, Welcoming, Worship, Youth. Extensive improvements include architecture, engineering, siteplanning and lansdcaping. Building is being designed as a LEED Silver. Scope of Work: 1. Great Hall Acoustical Treatment 2. Lower Patio Expansion and Upgrade 3. Roof Terrace and Columbarium Upgrade 4. Main Entrance, Vestibule, and Lobby Renovation with Elevator Installation 5. New Youth Center Chapel

IMPORTANT STEPS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU REOPEN SPACE PLANNING To properly plan the interior space, think of it in 2 functional parts: Social Distance (6 feet to 12 feet) Public Distance (12 to 24 feet) NEXT STEPS TO CONSIDER Analyze the safety requirements: Plan for a 12 ft. diameter around a person’s space Use an accurate way of measuring, CAD program, or tape measure, to analyze the space and determine the proper distances. Make sure there is adequate ventilation in your space: Ask an architecture / engineering firm to analyze your existing HVAC / fresh air exchange system. Also look at the filters, change out with HEPA Switch out bathroom fixtures to 100% hands free Provide sanitizing stations thru out that includes hand sanitizers, masks, gloves Use cellphone to access buildings instead of a buzzer/doorbell system Switch out door hardware to an anti microbial metal such as copper or established door/kitchen hardware companies own anti-micro coatings Have an infrared thermometer at the entrance to your space to check everyone who enters Provide touch-less services such as automatic doors, touch-less digital directories, reprogram elevators to stop on all floors

SAMARITAN VILLAGE ED THOMPSON VETERAN'S CENTER RICHMOND HILL, NEW YORK INSTITUTIONAL 19,000 sqft. Samaritan Village has been helping Veterans at this location for over 30 years, and the building was depressing and in need of much work. Instead of completely filling in the site with a two story building, the architectural vision was to stack the floor plates to create an onsite backyard with patio, garden and a basketball court. A complete gut renovation and addition was done to accommodate a 50-bed Veteran’s recovery facility complete with clinical support offices, flexible group rooms, recreation areas, commercial kitchen, storage, staff offices and seperate quiet and tv/ radio lounges. The existing 2-story building was gutted down to the existing structure, including the removal of the front brick veneer. Two new floors were added with all new engineering and life safety systems, - all wrapped in a new front facade allowing large amounts of natural light creating a warm, inviting and proud and exterior finish. The interior design palate incorporated a variety of soothing paint colors, wood flooring, a bright kitchen spacious dining room, sensitive lighting and large clean bathroom facilities.

CORTLANDT MANOR BATH HOUSE CORTLANDT MANOR, NEW YORK PUBLIC SPACES PARKS AND RECREATION New Bath House and Mini-Golf Course in Cortlandt Manor, NY Sustainable design of new bathhouse facility and mini-golf course to accommodate the public pool serving a town of 44,000 people. The building works with the exiting Recreation complex enhancing the visitor experience and staff management. Project details include a friendly and secure building allows for ample natural light in interior spaces, visual clarity of lifeguard and first aid spaces, new kitchen facilities, a new central outdoor shaded plaza and a new mini-golf course.
