WEST POINT HERBERT HALL EXPANSION LOCATION WEST POINT, NEW YORK PROJECT TYPE Public Space, Education, Healthcare and Institutional PROJECT DETAILS Size : 20,000 sq ft Herbert Hall located at West Point, NY, is a three-story, brick building comprising approximately 31,000 square feet and constructed in 1993 using alumni-donated funds. The intention is to increase the size of office space to accommodate the growing staff and to increase entertainment spaces to host alumni functions and continue to serve as a campus focal point for social, recreational, and educational events. 20,000 sqft of expansion and renovation elements include a new state-of-the-art multi-function banquet hall, kitchen, staff office and meeting areas, alumni social space, improved public space with expanded bookstore and cafe. 451 MAIN STREET LOCATION NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK PROJECT TYPE Commercial, Historic Restoration PROJECT DETAILS Size : 13,570 sq ft Status: Completed 2012 This historic building was originally constructed in 1888 and underwent a complete restoration and renovation. Once home to a Masonic Temple, the property has been thoughtfully reimagined to support contemporary commercial use while preserving its historic integrity. The project included a full gut renovation of the 9,000-square-foot structure, introducing ground-floor retail and office spaces across the upper levels. Key features include new 30-foot skylights with exposed structural trusses, along with upgraded HVAC, electrical, fire alarm, and security systems. Sustainable design strategies and LEED-oriented elements were incorporated throughout, resulting in a modern, efficient space that respects and celebrates its architectural heritage. 8TH AVENUE CONDOMINIUMS MOUNT VERNON, NEW YORK RESIDENTIAL This unique project was successful on a number of levels. There was a need for quality, attractive affordable housing in close proximity to the local businesses and transportation. Choices were limited due to initial budget constraints. As the land search progressed, a 5,000 square foot site was discovered, and the project came to life. A three story housing complex for moderate income families at the southwest corner of North Eighth Avenue and North Street was built on the vacant site of former an apartment building, which burned to the ground in 1986. P. Forest Development working with Westhab In Mount Vernon, Inc., is the developer. The $1.2 million project is an Award winning example of how to design and build attractive affordable housing in which the homeowners, and city citizens are proud. The eleven-unit Tudor style building provides new vitality, and an improved landscaping which serves to beautify and better service the residents and the community. The project was completed on time and within budget and is home to 28 proud Mount Vernon residents.

GREENBURGH POLICE STATION LOCATION GREENBURGH, NEW YORK PROJECT TYPE Municipal PROJECT DETAILS Size: 3,000 sq ft Status: Completed 2010 This public project was successful on a number of levels. The Greenburgh Police Headquarters was seeking ways to effectively update and expand the entire facility. One of the major requirements of the space was that the Police Officers wanted to engage the public in a more open manner and thus seem more 'friendly' to the general public. The addition, improved entrance and public areas were achieved through the use of natural materials and colors. Stones, finished woods were used in union with steel to create a warmer environment while maintaining the fortitude and dependability that is representative of the Greenburgh Police. The 3000 square foot alteration successfully balances a variety of design features including allowing large quantities of natural light when required, providing state of the art engineering to regulate the environment, depending on the activity and amount of occupants, and equipment storage. The building was also designed to conform to all current ADA (American Disabilities Act) codes, which provides access to previously inaccessible spaces. The project includes the design and systems coordination of energy saving, environmentally controlled spaces, achieved through careful attention to design, civil, construction and engineering issues. MARSHLANDS CONSERVANCY NATURE CENTER RYE, NEW YORK PARK + RECREATION PUBLIC SPACES Winning RFP for new nature center of Marshlands Conservancy in Rye, NY - 3,600 sq.ft. Sustainable design of New new nature center facility to accommodate gallery/exhibit rooms, classrooms, public bathrooms and a variety of flexible multi-use programs for 30,000 visitors and 70 school trips per year. This Green project is in schematic design phase, it continues to be developed as a landing point along Jay Heritage Centers, historic garden.

In the place of a an antiquated steel parking garage will soon rise an all new mixed-use residential complex that will not only revitalize the immediate area, but also serve as a catalyst for the continuing rejuvenation in and along the city's Main Street shopping corridor. The unique tower will be a landmark destination point and stand as a proud symbol for the future of New Rochelle. The building will incorporate the latest sustainable design engineering, products and systems.
